The Falmouth Historical Society invites you to become a corporate sponsor!

Since 1966, we have been the only collecting institution in Maine focused exclusively on the history of Falmouth.  Our mission is to preserve the heritage of our town to inform present and future generations.  We are a public charity delivering research and educational services to residents, schools, government, businesses, the media, and anyone with an interest or connection to Falmouth.

We are an all-volunteer organization whose funding comes almost entirely from dues, donations, and grants.  We operate on a shoestring budget.  Most of our income goes to operation and maintenance of the Falmouth Heritage Museum and Barn on Woods Road.  Our biggest financial challenges are upkeep for the 19th century farmhouse holding our collections of artifacts and historical documents. 

Any level of corporate sponsorship sustains our Society by providing the funds to keep the lights on.  Larger donations provide the means for us to deal with major expenses facing us in the near term including:

• Conversion from septic to the new sewer line running along Woods Road
• Exterior painting of our buildings
• Weatherproofing (including asbestos remediation) of the Museum's second floor
  
• Improvement of the driveway and entryway hardscapes
• Restoration of Falmouth’s 1925 REO Fire Truck
